Style Master Windows 3.5.2 upgrade released

We have just made available a minor upgrade to Style Master for Windows.

3.5.2 fixes a number of relatively minor problems, including a proliferation of temporary files, the Navbar and Breadcrumb wizards crashing on some unusual system setups, and some other minor issues with a couple of wizards.

You can grab the demo here

http://www.westciv.com/style_master_35/Installsm352demofat.exe

(you'll get another 30 days of demoing)

If you are a paid up customer you should have received an email with details about the full version. If you haven't, drop us a line and we will sort it out right away,

John

Looks good. Got the temp file problem under control. Later versions of gecko based browsers (it seems) still don't work well with the preview - no graphics (i.e., in tutorial no background image, images at top). I've checked the html source of the temp files and the temp css files and can't see anything obvious why there should be a problem. If you load the actual index.html file rather than a temp, all is well. Seems like we had this problem when going from 2.2 to 3.0, too.

Things I'd like to see - think I've mentioned 'em before but not sure. Ability to edit the command line in the browser preview list - also to edit what is displayed. For example, would like to pick 'Mozilla 1.7B' from the list and have it run "c:\program files\mozilla.org\Mozilla17\mozilla.exe" -P Mozilla17 (or whatever other command line switches may be desired). Would such a thing be possible w/o major coding?

I'm going to try to duplicate this problem so I can give the exact steps but here's the gist of it. In the Page Layout editor when I go to type in the height value, 199 say, like in the tutorial, I only get 2 digits in if I haven't pre-selected px (i.e., if it still has the default em in the dropdown) the screen flickers a bit and I have to click in the value box again to enter the 3rd digit. Seems like I've seen similar things in other 'value' fields from time to time.

Still the best StyleMaster release ever, though, and beats the socks of of anything else I've seen. Wonderful tool (and fun to use)!

Best,

Mike
